We are a small collective of architects and designers based in Tbilisi, Georgia, guided by the artistic direction of George Bokhua. Our focus is on creating thoughtfully crafted spaces and custom architectural elements for private clients and collaborators in design.

We aim to bring a timeless and refined aesthetic to every project. Our approach balances functionality with emotion, carefully shaping each environment to evoke a sense of presence and thoughtful detail. Every space we design carries a distinct character, intentionally crafted to feel both purposeful and enduring.

Frankfurt Book Fair 2018

Frankfurt, Germany 2018

Georgia Made by Characters showcases the dynamic creativity of Georgia in Frankfurt, bringing together the country’s most innovative designers, artists, typographers, and architects. The exhibition explores the intersection of tradition and modernity, presenting works that reinterpret cultural heritage through form, material, and concept.

Guided by George Bokhua’s artistic vision, the project highlights the depth, diversity, and individuality of contemporary Georgian design , from architectural ideas and print experiments to functional and artistic objects. More than a display, it positions Georgian design as a cultural language, celebrating creativity, clarity, and bold expression.



Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin

Proposal for ITB, 2023

This proposal outlines the spatial and experiential concept for Georgia’s Host Country presentation at ITB Berlin 2023. Drawing inspiration from Supra, the traditional Georgian feast, the design translates the theme of Infinite Hospitality into a cohesive architectural and visual narrative.

The pavilion uses symbolic forms, patterns, and continuous spatial flow to introduce visitors to Georgia’s cultural identity. The scope covers concept development, spatial planning, interior and exhibition design, and integration of visual content for a unified and welcoming presentation.

Ramos (Rustavi)

Rustavi, Georgia 2025

Comprehensive rebranding and full interior, exterior redesign for the Ramos Macshaurma Rustavi branch. The project focuses on establishing a unified and contemporary brand identity while tailoring the design to the spatial conditions and customer flow specific to this location.

Scope of work includes rethinking interior layouts, developing façade and signage concepts, selecting materials and finishes, planning furniture and seating systems, and integrating brand elements consistently throughout the space. The resulting design prioritizes efficiency, visual clarity, and an enhanced customer experience, ensuring the Rustavi restaurant reflects the renewed brand character.


Grapple Street (Tbilisi)


Tbilisi, Georgia 2025

Interior and spatial design for Grapple Street, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Tbilisi. The project encompassed the creation of a professional, inspiring, and welcoming environment suitable for practitioners of all levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. Design interventions focused on optimizing training areas, circulation, and functional zones while fostering a sense of community and discipline.

The scope included layout planning, interior design, material selection, branding integration, and support areas. The design promotes technique, focus, and resilience, while ensuring safety, comfort, and an immersive martial arts experience.


Imedi L Insurance


Tbilisi, Georgia 2025

Interior design and space planning for the Imedi L Insurance headquarters customer service center. The project focused on creating a professional, welcoming, and highly functional environment for clients and staff.

Design services included spatial layout optimization, reception and waiting area planning, material and finish selection, furniture specification, and integration of brand identity throughout the interior. The design prioritizes comfort, accessibility, and operational efficiency, ensuring a seamless experience for visitors and employees alike.



Ramos (Poti)

Poti, Georgia 2025

At the Poti location, the redesign interprets the Ramos Macshaurma brand through an environment shaped by the coastal city’s atmosphere and local rhythm. The concept builds a warm, inviting customer experience by merging contemporary brand aesthetics with spatial qualities unique to the site.

The project covers the full spectrum of design services, from interior mood development and lighting strategy to the design of the exterior presence, signage, and furniture layout. Special attention is given to materials and finishes that complement Poti’s ambiance and enhance the overall dining experience. The result is a cohesive and character-driven space that strengthens the brand’s emotional connection with its visitors.


Ramos (Tbilisi)

The Tbilisi branch redesign focuses on presenting the renewed Ramos Macshaurma identity within a contemporary urban context. Located in a city where visual culture and customer expectations evolve rapidly, the project emphasizes clarity, efficiency, and a refined brand presence.

The design scope includes complete interior and exterior transformation, spatial layout restructuring, façade development, and integrated signage. Materials, lighting, and furniture are selected to create a streamlined and modern environment that supports high customer turnover while maintaining comfort and visual coherence.


Ramos (Batumi)

Batumi, Georgia 2025

For Batumi, the rebranding project emphasizes translating the refreshed identity of Ramos Macshaurma into a bold architectural and graphic language. The design embraces the dynamic energy of Batumi’s urban landscape, creating an expressive and clearly recognizable presence within the city.

The scope includes a complete transformation of the interior environment, the exterior envelope, and the brand’s touchpoints, supported by a unified approach to materials, lighting, furniture, and signage. Every element is calibrated to deliver a memorable brand narrative while maintaining practicality and efficient operations. The Batumi branch becomes not only a functional restaurant but also a visual landmark representing the new Ramos Macshaurma identity.

  • George Bokhua

    Art Director

    George (Giorgi) Bokhua is a Georgian-born, internationally recognized graphic designer, creative director, and founder of Studio George Bokhua and Maculature Publishing. Known for his minimalist, geometry-driven approach, George has built a reputation for creating timeless, reductionist designs rooted in clarity, proportion, and visual intelligence. His work blends modernist principles, intuitive negative space, and precise construction logic — a style that has made his design widely studied, benchmarked, and referenced by designers around the world.

  • Nino Togoshvili

    Architect, Interior Designer

    Nino Togoshvili is an architectural designer with experience in residential, commercial, and branding focused interior projects. She currently works at Studio George Bokhua, contributing to concept development, spatial planning, and detailed technical documentation across a variety of design projects. She studied at Tbilisi state Academy of Arts and the University of Missouri, where she strengthened her foundation in research-based design, urban analysis, and project coordination. Nino’s work focuses on functional, refined, and visually coherent spaces.

  • Lia Amashukeli

    Architect, Interior Designer

    Lia is an architect and interior designer dedicated to creating spaces that are functional, character-driven, and ergonomically refined. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Planning and Design. She has worked on a diverse range of projects, including commercial offices, retail shops, individual housing, public spaces, and restaurants. Her work focuses on crafting environments that balance functionality with aesthetic quality, ensuring each project carries its own distinct identity and purpose.

  • David Dron

    Multidisciplinary Designer

    David Dron is a visual designer working across 3D, motion design, graphic communication, and print production. His practice combines technical mastery with an architectural sense of composition, resulting in work that is clean, intentional, and deeply atmospheric. From motion sequences and digital environments to printed matter and brand visuals, David approaches each medium with the same disciplined attention to detail. His work stands out for its balance of restraint and expressiveness, merging clarity, structure, and narrative in a unified visual language.
